Franz Deuters (1799-1864) was born in Germany and moved to London where he lived on
99 Leman Street as a bootmaker. He married Susanna Freeman and they had 10 children.

Albert and Frederick made caps, Hendry was a laundryman and Francis Henry Deuters (1838-1892)
was an oilman on 355 Commercial Road in London. He married Elizabeth Suckling in 1867.

In 1880-1885 he ran a store with the help of his 2 sons, Henry (ca 1869) and Victor (ca 1871).
In 1890 the store is run by "Jones", who was on 350 Commercial Road before.
In 1881 Francis was 43 and his boys were 10 and 12.
